The Fitch Group is currently seeking a Product Owner (Sr. Director) for the Core Engineering Squad, based out of our New York office.
Core Engineering, part of the Technology Enablement and Deployment Tribe (TE&D), is a senior engineering organization responsible for building modern DevOps Tools, Cloud Environments, and Infrastructure Services. Partnered with Reliability Engineering – Core Engineering helps Fitch build and deploy advanced services in support of all business groups. TE&D builds scalable, forward-thinking, and cost-effective platforms and brings deep partnership and expertise to our peer organizations.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Work with Scrum Master to help define and manage work across the Core Engineering Squad
- Provide strategic leadership, looking for opportunities to innovate and take thoughtful risks
- Build Roadmap with Core Engineering squad, Program Manager, and Tribe Leads
- Develop next-generation Developer Portal and CI/CD tooling with Enterprise Architecture
- Own Build Pipeline, Config Management, and Cloud automation tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
- Partner regularly with Reliability Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Engineering to design new platforms and iterate on those in place
What You Need to Have:
- Proven track record of delivering results and impact
- 3+ yrs experience working in cloud-first environments, delivering infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and automated pipelines
- Experience as a Scrum Product Owner or leading Cloud Engineering teams.
- Experience with Docker containers and container orchestration.
- Technical competency in: AWS services and scaled cloud computing; automation engineering; service telemetry environments
- Ability to think creatively and brainstorm to find solutions for challenges
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business Management, or equivalent experience
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Previous experience building out Self-Service Catalogs and Developer Portals
- Deep Scrum Product Owner experience and related certifcations
- Senior-level experience leading, coaching, and developing people and teams
- Background building Multiregion and Multi-cloud environments
- Experience building regulated cloud environments in Financial Services, Healthcare, or E-Commerce domains
***This is a hybrid role, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170,000 and $200,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
