Fitch Group is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our Business Applications team, based in New York. This role involves designing and developing scalable, high-quality full-stack applications, while working closely with business applications leadership, architects, and engineering teams to deliver modern, cloud-native solutions.

We’ll Count on You To:
Design and Build: Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud-native architecture. Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, diagnosis, and resolve complex application and system issues.
CI/CD Release Management: Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and agile development processes. Ensure high code quality through unit testing and automation frameworks.
Technology Trend Monitoring: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development.
What You Need to Have:
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on full stack development experience.
Development: Hands-on experience with React.js or Node.js, Python, REST APIs, and SQL databases.
Cloud & DevOps: Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and modern deployment practices. Experience with AWS data services such as Lambda, S3, and OpenSearch.
Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Version Control: Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and a self-starter.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay salary range for this role $115,000 - $130,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
