Fitch Learning is seeking an Associate Director, Sales & Business Development based in our Toronto office.

 

About the Team

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven sales professional to help grow Fitch Learning’s presence across the financial services market. This role is focused on sales by developing strategic client relationships, generating new business, and leading consultative sales conversations for our premium training and learning solutions.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across client organizations, identifying opportunities to sell and deliver tailored solutions that address business needs and create long-term value. This is an exciting sales opportunity to expand our client base, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive revenue growth in a highly visible commercial sales role.

  • May require occasional travel within Canada as needed
  • This is a sales role and is commission-eligible from day one

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Generate new business and grow sales revenue across target accounts
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with clients and prospects
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Identify sales opportunities to expand existing client relationships
  • Partner with internal teams to sell and deliver tailored learning solutions
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting

 

You May Be a Good Fit if You Have

  • 5–8+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management
  • Proven success in a consultative B2B sales role
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing multiple sales opportunities
  • Experience in sales, financial services, training, education, or professional services preferred

FOR TORONTO ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 CAD and $130,000 CAD per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
