Fitch Group is currently seeking a Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst based out of our Warsaw office
The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments while partnering closely with FP&A and business stakeholders. This role focuses on invoice coding, cost center/GL allocation, and reassigning invoices to the appropriate business owners for approval and resolution, supporting accurate forecasting, accruals, and month-end close.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Review, validate, and process vendor invoices (PO and non-PO) for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
- Code invoices to the correct GL accounts, cost centers, projects, and legal entities; ensure appropriate tax/VAT treatment where applicable.
- Reassign invoices to the appropriate business owners/approvers and follow up to drive timely approvals and issue resolution.
- Partner with FP&A to support accurate expense reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis by ensuring consistent coding and timely posting.
- Investigate and resolve invoice exceptions (missing approvals, incorrect coding, duplicate invoices, pricing discrepancies, GR/IR issues) in coordination with Procurement, Receiving, and budget owners.
- Contribute to process improvements in invoice workflow, coding standards, and stakeholder training to reduce exceptions and cycle time.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive Accounts Payable (AP) experience, including Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, and Payments, preferably in a multinational finance setting within accounting and/or Procurement functions.
- Excellent communication skills with cultural sensitivity; fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are advantageous
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- Time management and workload efficiency skills
- Attention to details
- Proficient in Excel including the use of pivot tables etc
- Readiness to go extra mile to avoid mistakes and produce new efficiency opportunities
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Oracle Accounts Payable experience
- Experience in processing employee expense claims
- Experience working in fast paced high volume environment
- Qualified or studying towards AAT (or equivalent) is desirable

Expected annualized salary for the role will be between PLN 8,000 and PLN10,000 per month . Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits such as pension, health and life insurance sponsored by Fitch.
