About the Team
The EMEA Industrial Ratings team covers over 100 public credits, spanning Aerospace & Defense, Capital Goods, Auto Manufacturers, Packaging, Building Materials and Construction. Around a third of the team is based in London, with the rest of the team based in Barcelona, Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Dubai.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- lead rating processes for a portfolio of credits focusing on industrial sectors interacting with corporate debt issuers and rating advisors, including in collaboration with other corporate sector teams, especially with Leveraged Finance
- present and discuss your rating recommendations, ideas and facts effectively in writing and verbally to a rating committee
- use effective questioning and listening skills in internal credit discussions and those with external constituents
- initiate and assist in producing thematic research reports in your coverage sectors
- keep fully up to date with market/industry developments and proactively manage your rating portfolio in response to credit events, identify areas to comment on externally
- be available to travel in EMEA region, primarily in the EU
- contribute to a team spirit of intelligent and open discussion as well as of cooperation

- independent thought and solid corporate credit analysis skills backed by a multi-year corporate finance background in banking, financial services or industry
- solid cash flow modelling skills
- well-developed communication and teamwork skills
- fluency in all forms of written and spoken English
- time management skills and ability to cope with tight deadlines

Expected annualized salary for the role will be between 175k and 200k PLN per annum. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits such as pension, health and life insurance sponsored by Fitch.
